Session FA 8 - Safety in heat treatment plants
Current meeting of the AWT technical committee on the subject of occupational and operational safety. Safety-related issues are dealt with and possible improvements are discussed. The meeting is held in compliance with AWT's antitrust regulations.
The next meeting will take place on 14.04.2026 at the Bodycote HIP site in Haag in Upper Bavaria-Winden. In addition to a site tour, the agenda this time includes the revision of safety recommendations, the handling of contaminated components in the tempering furnace, safety control loops for temperature measurement and the analysis of the current accident situation. Details of the event will be sent out with the invitation letter four weeks before the meeting. Non-binding guest participation is also possible for non-members.
