Seminar
The increasing component requirements in mechanical engineering are increasingly determined by heat treatment. Old processes are being further developed, and new ones are being pushed to the limits of what is technically possible. Increasing attention must be paid to occupational and operational safety in order to prevent damage of any kind and to safeguard production processes. Not only protection and safety personnel, but also every employee in the heat treatment plant should be able to recognize the often complex potential dangers and initiate targeted safety measures. This requires qualified specialists to be able to react correctly and appropriately to the various situations.
The aim of the seminar is to convey the safety technology of heat treatment plants, the safe handling of process gases and media, as well as the identification of potential hazards and their legal framework. In particular, warranty liability and the new definition of defects from 1.1.2022 will be explained in a separate contribution.
The event will be rounded off by experimental demonstrations and an introduction to functional safety with a view to the safety integrity level (SIL).
Qualified speakers from various areas of industry will give participants the opportunity to discuss questions and topics of varying depth in an expert manner and to exchange experiences.
