"Warpage reduction during quenching of aluminum components", lecture by Mr. Thorsten Beitz, Petrofer Chemie H.R. Fischer GmbH & Co. KG as part of the topic "Heat treatment of aluminum"
Aluminum is the second most common construction material. And yet the material is often neglected alongside its big brother, steel. Even though aluminum is not so universally applicable, it still offers a wide range of possibilities - provided you can adjust the conditions accurately. The heat treatment of aluminum is therefore an important but also exciting topic. We are looking forward to an exciting presentation by Mr. Thorsten Beitz (Petrofer GmbH) with the title Warpage reduction during quenching of Al components Mr. Beitz will give us an insight into a fascinating world. In addition to the basics of aluminum alloys, he will highlight important components of heat treatment and give some application examples.
