Heat Treatment Congress (HK) 2026 in Cologne - 82nd AWT Hardening Congress
An international highlight for science and industry! The 82nd AWT Heat Treatment Congress will take place in parallel with the 31st IFHTSE World Congress, the European Heat Treatment Conference (ECHT) 2026 and the 4th Steel Innovation Conference. Together, these events form one of the most important international platforms for heat treatment, materials technology, manufacturing and process engineering. In 2026, the event will be organized in close cooperation with the International Federation for Heat Treatment and Surface Engineering (IFHTSE) and the European heat treatment associations from France, Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and the Benelux countries. The extensive congress program with numerous international presentations will extend over three days and offer valuable insights into the latest scientific and industrial developments.
In addition to the congress, the international trade exhibition will once again be a central highlight of the event. Around 150 exhibitors from all over the world are expected to present innovative equipment, services, consumables and technologies for the heat treatment and surface technology industry.
